Laura and Shane Married | Revolution Hall Troy New York Wedding by Heidi Hanson Photography

I knew as soon as I met Laura and Shane that their day was gonna be hella fun! Troy, New York is just an adorable town and we had so much fun exploring during their pre-ceremony photos. Their venue Browns Brewing Revolution Hall was gorgeous! Previously an old concert hall, it made for the perfect backdrop for their ceremony and reception. The dance floor was packed all night! Here are some of my favorites!

Claire and Michael Married | A Wadsworth Mansion Wedding by Heidi Hanson Photography

Claire and Michael were married on a beautiful November day at the equally beautiful Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT. From the dresses, down to the flowers, everything was stunning! We loved their first look and all their amazing dance moves.

The crew who pulled it all together:

Venue: Wadsworth Mansion

Catering: David Alan Hospitality Group

Florist: Green Dahlia

Dress: Everthine

Enjoy some of our faves!

Lexi and John Married | The Lodge at Maneeley's Wedding by Heidi Hanson Photography

Lexi and John’s day was HOT AF! With Lexi being a teacher they needed to have their wedding in the summer. Needless to say we were all melting in the heat, but their smiles persisted all day. They are the sweetest couple and their family and friends were the best. Yes, we say this about all our couples, but it’s true. We’re lucky! And boy were we lucky that Lexi and John loved to have their photos taken (and they killed it)! They picked the perfect location for their first look and bridal party/family photos. We loved this little farm in the middle of nowhere! Their decor/details were exquisite, you could tell Lexi spent a lot of time planning the perfect day. Maneeley’s Lodge was decked out and their staff were superb! There’s so many favorites to choose from (seriously) so here are a few that we want the world to see.

Dimi and Nick a Seaside Affair by Heidi Hanson Photography

In all the world, there is no heart for me like yours.
In all the world, there is no love for you like mine.”
Maya Angelou

To say that Dimi and Nick were one of my favorite couples is an understatement!  They are fun, funny and perfect for each other.  The way they look at each other, you just can instantly feel the love between them, it gives me goosebumps!   Plus they are so easy to photograph.

Their wedding was so pretty and a ton of fun – here are a few of my favorite images from their big day:

OMG it’s October | Connecticut Wedding Photographer |Heidi Hanson Photography |

October it one of my favorite month’s of the year, if not my FAVE.  I mean who doesn’t love layers of clothes, sweatshirts, pumpkins, changing leaves, hot cocoa, soccer games, jumping in leaves (okay maybe not the raking to get the leaf pike) but you get my drift.  Just something about the crisp air that makes everything awesome – oh and I was married in October so that’s pretty cool right??  This year we’ll be celebrating 11 years – WTF??  That went fast!!

So it also happens to be one of the busiest months – ALWAYS  not just this year – but ALWYAS.  So I took a quick glimpse of my calendar and kind of laughed and quickly closed it.  But then I opened it again and took a deep breath, paused and smiled.  It’s a good busy, it’s a happy busy!
